Under the management of Dave Redmond, the Sunday 2nd Team have clinched the title in Div 7 on the last game of the season.

This magnificent achievement was achieved with a very consistent squad who played some fantastic football.

Hopefully they will all be down at the awards night on the 30th to collect their trophies.

The committee is pleased to announce the appointment of our new Club Captain, George.

George Chequer has been part of the club for many years, originally playing on Sundays and currently playing on Saturdays.

George made his debut in the 2015-16 season, playing 23 times, getting 28 man of the match votes and scoring 3 goals. He played for 6 seasons before leaving us temporarily for 3 seasons and returning for the 2014-2025 season.

Not including the current season George has made 130 appearances, with 183 man of the match votes and scored 11 goals.

As club captain, George wants to hear from you if you have any issues that you would prefer not discussing with your manager.

NEWSLETTER 1

The season has started with all teams apart from the Saturday Vets having their first games.

Please note that our home ground, at very short notice, is getting a badly needed and overdue renovation. This hopefully is the start of a regular programme which will gradually see the ground restored to an optimum condition. We hope to resume using it on the weekend of 27th/28th.

The Southern Amateur League have agreed to amalgamate with the Amateur Football Combination with teams from both former leagues playing in a unified structure.

This will affect our Saturday sides in terms of divisions that they are in and their opponents. We will confirm once details are finalised.

 We are very pleased to announce that we have hired Mia Redmond to be our fixtures secretary for this season. Mia has been involved with the club for many years, all be it indirectly, as the wife of our 3rd team manager.
