For those of you who do not know, the OWA is the organisation that owns the ground, or at least half of it and also owns the clubhouse.
Although we play under its umbrella as do rugby and cricket, we have no direct tie ins. Rugby, cricket and football all have separate constitutions and bank accounts and governing bodies.
Recently the OWA chairman announced that he was stepping down and there was an election for a new chairman with both Julian Agostini (from the football club) and Greg Martis standing.
Mr Greg Martis received a higher number of votes and is the new OWA chairman.
